Guiovanna Aguirre

Guiovanna Aguirre is currently the Business Operations Manager at Centro Savila (CS), a local non-profit organization. Guiovanna provides administrative support to the CS staff, student interns, volunteers, and community. Guiovanna is a native New Mexican and has worked in the nonprofit community for several years. She received a MBA from the Anderson School of Management, University of New Mexico.  In addition to her administrative duties, Guiovanna has been co-managing the Outreach and Enrollment team at CS for the past three years.  The team works together to educate and enroll monolingual Spanish speakers and mixed immigration status families in Albuquerque and the surrounding areas about their health coverage options. Working at CS has given Guiovanna a deep appreciation for how nonprofits seek to improve the quality of life for the communities they serve.  

Theresa M. Dunworth

Theresa Dunworth is the Bookkeeper and Office Manager for Agri-Cultura Cooperative Network and Working Classroom. She graduated from UNM in 1984 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with an Accounting Major. She previously held positions as Assistant Controller at New Mexico Finance Authority and Bookkeeper Assistant and Inventory Database Convertor at Automatic Electrical Service Inc. Theresa was also previously the Head of Compilation Department, and auditor and tax preparer for Lewallen & Co.

Fidel Gonzalez

Fidel's farm Los Jardines de Moktezuma is one of the three founding member farms of the Agri-Cultura Cooperative Network (ACN), and he serves as the current President of the ACN Board of Directors. When Fidel first began farming he knew nothing about agriculture, he is completely self-taught and has learned through the process of farming. In addition he is a board member for the Downtown Growers’ Market.
Fidel currently participates in a program through American Friends Service Committee, training farmers to train the next generation of farmers. Fidel began studying music at the age of 15 years old, in Mexico City where he hails from. He is also an Aztec dancer.

Fidel centers his life and work philosophy around the concept of Gross National Happiness, which speaks of peace, and leading a balanced life where work does not overshadow the importance of family and pursuits of happiness.  

Bernadette Hardy

Bernadette is from Albuquerque, and is a graduate of UNM with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. Bernadette is Hispanic and Native American, and a member of the Navajo Nation. Her experiences growing up on her grandfather's small farm in the North Valley on Pequeño Road served as inspiration for the work she now does. Bernadette currently lives in the International District, where she is a Co-Coordinator for the International District Healthy Communities Coalition. She is also a member of Sunflowers for Change. She is an advocate for her community and the environment, and her coalition seeks out ways to improve the economy, health, and wellness of the community. Bernadette’s other titles include Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Equity and Inclusion at UNM, MATCH New Mexico Mentor coordinator, and FAFSA State Wide Workshop Coordinator at College Connect NM.

Brandy Montaño

Brandy Montaño is a La Cosecha CSA member and a farmer—both trained and by blood and ancestry. She was trained through the (AFSC) American Friends Service Committee farmer training program and worked at Los Jardines Institute. Brandy is also a poet and a founding member of Burque Revolt, a local 501(c)3 collective of poets working on intergenerational connections and education. Burque Revolt puts on three shows a month centering women and people of color. Alongside their partner, Brandy hosts ABQ’s only QTPOC centered slam and open mic, Respira.

Theresa Doherty

Theresa Doherty is a La Cosecha CSA member and an avid home gardener. She provides project management and business analytics support to clients as an associate with Agile Group, LLC. Before moving to Albuquerque, she participated in community gardening and local conservation efforts in Boston. She graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University.

Bonnie Thornton

Bonnie graduated from Central New Mexico Community College in 2020 with Certificates in Sustainability and Social Justice, and an Associate of Arts in Environmental Planning and Design. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability with a Minor in Global Studies through the College of Global Futures at Arizona State University. Bonnie spent four years managing La Cosecha and a year managing sales for the cooperative. She also has experience farming hemp, and is currently working for DSD Renewables as an Interconnection and Incentive Specialist.
